At Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, we are looking for a proactive and security-focused Cyber Security Blue Team Specialist to join our team! Are you ready to protect critical systems, manage cyber risks, and contribute to a secure and resilient airport ecosystem?

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, or related fields,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cyber Security,
• At least 3 years of experience in network operations or system administration,
• Hands-on experience in log management, log analysis, SIEM platforms, and correlation rule development,
• Experience with network security and access control technologies such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, WAF, Proxy, VPN,
• Experience in network traffic analysis,
• Experience in vulnerability management processes,
• Experience in malware analysis and/or working with sandbox environments,
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS security services,
• Knowledge of IT-related regulations, standards, and compliance requirements,
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and similar cyber threat frameworks,
• Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) sources and IOC / IOA analysis,
• Holding at least one of the following certifications is preferred: CEH, CISSP, CISA, OSCP, CCNA,
• Strong analytical thinking, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to work effectively under pressure,
• Strong documentation and reporting skills,
• Eagerness to continuously learn and improve,
• Strong time management and prioritization skills,
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills,
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency (minimum B2 level).

Job Description

• Managing and continuously improving the organization’s cyber security infrastructure,
• Monitoring security logs (SIEM), proactively detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents,
• Performing threat detection and Threat Hunting activities,
• Managing research, POC, RFP, and project implementation processes for security technologies such as WAF, IAM, Email Security, EDR, PAM, OT Security, and Cyber Threat Intelligence,
• Managing log collection, normalization, and correlation processes,
• Executing incident response activities and preparing root cause analysis reports,
• Tracking current cyber threats and vulnerabilities and taking preventive and corrective actions,
• Developing defensive scenarios aligned with MITRE ATT&CK and other threat frameworks,
• Following publications and advisories from vendors and information security organizations,
• Conducting cyber security awareness activities across the organization,
• Preparing periodic cyber security reports,
• Defining security standards and requirements for systems to be deployed in production environments,
• Working closely with IT Operations, Software Development teams, and cyber security consultants,
• Managing and coordinating external SOC and outsourced security service providers.
