Senior Project Manager – Data Centre Migration | Contract | On-Site | Poland
We’re acting for our client — a leading global financial services technology provider with a strong presence in Poland — to find an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Project Management Team on a contract basis.
This is an on-site role, delivering major workstreams within a complex Data Centre Migration programme. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to manage costs, scope, quality, and delivery for multiple projects.
What You’ll Do
- Lead workstreams and coordinate project integration within the DC Migration programme.
- Manage project scope, costs, quality, time, human resources, communication, and risks.
- Plan and prioritise tasks; gather effort estimates and track timesheets.
- Supervise on-site project teams, external suppliers, and resource usage.
- Identify risks, report critical issues, and ensure mitigation.
- Monitor status, enforce deadlines, and ensure clear, complete project documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of project methodologies and tools.
Technical Skills & Tools You’ll Use
- 5–8 years of IT Project Management experience, ideally in financial services, insurance, telecom, or consulting.
- Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Experience with tools such as:
- MS Project
- Clarity
- JIRA
- SharePoint
- Confluence
- Proven ability to manage large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong English communication skills for working in an international environment.
Essential Skills
- Ability to plan and manage team workloads effectively.
- Confidence in influencing, negotiating, and solving problems under pressure.
- Skilled at identifying risks and implementing mitigation.
- Strong relationship management with customers and suppliers.
