Product Owner - Cybersecurity Venture Build

We are hiring a Product Owner to join a consultancy building a cutting-edge digital factory, focused on launching and scaling zero-to-one ventures in emerging technology fields. This role will sit within their cybersecurity venture unit and will play a critical role in shaping and delivering AI-enabled security products from inception through to launch.

The internal digital factory operates like a startup studio, rapidly validating and building enterprise-grade products that solve high-impact problems across the cybersecurity landscape

As Product Owner, you will take full ownership of delivery across a portfolio of cybersecurity products, including threat intelligence platforms, security analytics, and AI-powered detection tools. Working closely with engineers, data scientists, designers, and product leads, you will translate strategic product direction into clear, prioritised delivery plans.

This is a delivery-focused role that requires strong technical grounding in cybersecurity and data-driven platforms. You will be deeply involved across the product lifecycle from roadmap development and user story creation to validation, testing, and go-to-market support.

• Work with the product and engineering teams to define and prioritise product backlogs across threat intelligence, security analytics, and detection platforms
• Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable user stories and delivery milestones
• Act as the interface between technical teams and the wider business, ensuring clarity and alignment across the delivery lifecycle
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and validate requirements
• Ensure that built features meet expectations for performance, scalability, and security
• Support go-to-market activity by contributing to product positioning and demos
• Conduct post-launch performance reviews and drive continuous product improvement

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the cybersecurity space
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence, platform security, detection and response, and AI-driven security products
• Track record working in agile delivery environments with cross-functional teams
• Ability to translate complex security problems into structured technical requirements
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
• Experience building or working on complex, data-intensive products
