AI Application Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for an AI Application Engineer to build, integrate, and deploy AI-powered applications. This role focuses on turning AI models and APIs into real, user-facing products and internal tools. Key Responsibilities  Build AI-powered applications using ML models and LLMs  Integrate AI services into existing systems and workflows  Develop backend services and APIs for AI features  Implement prompt engineering, orchestration, and evaluation for LLMs  Collaborate with AI Architects and ML Engineers on system design  Optimize AI applications for performance, reliability, and cost  Test, monitor, and improve deployed AI solutions Required Qualifications  Strong programming skills (Python required; JavaScript/TypeScript a plus)  Experience building backend services and APIs  Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI APIs  Understanding of ML concepts (training vs inference, evaluation, limitations)  Experience deploying applications to cloud environments Preferred Qualifications  Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks  Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval systems  Frontend experience (React, Vue, etc.) is a plus  Knowledge of MLOps or CI/CD pipelines
