The team, position & mission:

In Security, Governance and Compliance (SGC), we enable everyone in Digital Services Europe (DSE) to perform business activities according to regulatory and certification standards. We also ensure our deliveries are in line with business requirements. Secure, resilient and robust operations are important elements for the company when reaching our business goals, and SGC cooperates closely with both customers, suppliers as well as the DSE internal delivery organization. We also align our work with the business strategy goals to ensure SGC is an integral part of driving innovation and keeping up with changing business needs.

You work with your team of Compliance Officers to implement regulatory requirements and governance models, ensuring that DSE information and our security landscape enables growth, flexibility, automation and AI. Together with our Quality Officer, you manage our IMS and other IT regulations to optimize technology deliveries, efficiency, and innovation. As Head of Compliance, you will also be responsible for the compliance of our social, environmental and ethical commitments.

As the manager for a team of Compliance Officers, you will lead the operational everyday work and provide steering and support to the individual members. The team is distributed in several European countries, which will put high demands on clear communication and the ability to create trust and engagement despite the distance.

The position requires frequent interactions with the internal DSE organization on all levels, alongside suppliers, customers and Orange Business. To be successful, this requires excellent communication and collaboration skills.

As Head of Compliance, you are also responsible for cooperating with external regulatory bodies, partners/auditors and with the Orange Business compliance organization to ensure continuous, robust, and secure delivery. To some extent, you will represent security and compliance interests in project steering groups. This position reports to the Group CISO.

Your key areas of responsibility as Head of Compliance:

• Report to Group CISO on Security, Governance and Compliance management
• Operational responsibility for all IMS, compliance and risk management
• Manager for all Compliance Officers
• Organize and take operational responsibility for the IMS in cooperation with the Senior Quality Officer
• Representing DSE/SGC in activities on operational level towards Orange Business
• Representing DSE in SGC topics in external forums on operational level such as customers, suppliers and authorities
• Support Incident Managers in case of major security crisis
• Maintain security policies, standards, and frameworks in compliance with industry and EU regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIS2, AI Act, GDPR, SOC 2)
• Advising the internal organization on implementing the policies and standards
• Regularly initiate audit activities to ensure continued compliance
• Maintain risk management in DSE
• Coordinate with decentralized IT teams to ensure consistent implementation of security policies
• Awareness training for DSE employees

As an ideal candidate you have:

• Documented university degree in IT, (Information) Security, Law, or equivalent competence through work experience
• Minimum 5 years´ relevant work experience
• Very high knowledge of compliance management and EU regulations within cybersecurity.
• Proven previous experience from ISMS management in a middle-size and/or an international organization
• Proven experience of risk management in a middle-size or a large international organization
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a managerial position
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Strong business awareness
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills
• Excellent communication in English and Norwegian

It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:

• Knowledge of cloud security
• Experience from managing international teams
• Experience in auditing
• Knowledge of digital innovation and AI development
