Provide Engineering project scope management & support in relation to duration, cost and scope associated with the planning & execution. Monitor performance, provide problem resolution, and execute projects to achieve project objectives.
Project Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Oversee activities of all aspects of planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting for Engineering BU Project Scopes to ensure projects are executed within PMO governance framework, process and procedures.
• Review the project scope and execution strategy and assist in the cost estimating of projects to ensure accurate project scope and budget development.
• Provide accurate Reporting on Engineering Project Scope progress
Communication and Reporting
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Coordinate with the applicable Engineering Manager to ensure successful planning, scheduling and execution of the project.
• Facilitate communication both internally within ENEC and externally with contract companies and contractors in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Work Management and Operations functions to ensure that supportive relationships are maintained, and teamwork is maximized in executing the project.
Schedule Maintenance and Development
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Coordinate closely with the Engineering Manager, SMEs and Vendors to support the development and maintenance of an integrated, logic linked resource loaded project schedule.
• Review and analyze threats and opportunities that may impact the schedule and create corrective action plans with stakeholders to mitigate concerns.
• Conduct and review Impact Assessments of Change Requests on the integrated schedule and its components to support decision making; monitor changes for the Project(s) to ensure they are tracked and managed.
• Review or recommend the selection of contractors to support project.
• Monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment.
• Monitor actual performance of the contractor against established performance criteria through various means such as industry benchmarked Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to confirm contractors are performing within industry norms.
Health and Safety and Security
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Follow all relevant company’s Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at work.
• Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.

Education and Experience-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science discipline with 5 years of relevant experience
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other relevant advanced degree.
Certification -
Related professional licenses and/or certification(s)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
