We are looking for a System Engineer L3 – NSX-T to join our infrastructure team. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting VMware NSX-T based network virtualization platforms in large-scale enterprise environments.

You will act as the final escalation point (L3) for complex NSX-T issues and play a key role in architecture, migrations, and platform optimization.

• Design and deploy VMware NSX-T Data Center solutions
• Architect and manage Tier-0 / Tier-1 gateways, routing, and overlay networking
• Implement micro-segmentation using NSX Distributed Firewall (DFW)
• Configure and support Edge services (NAT, VPN, Load Balancer, DHCP)
• Perform L3 troubleshooting, RCA, and performance optimization
• Support NSX-V to NSX-T migrations
• Work closely with VMware support for critical issues
• Automate tasks using PowerCLI / REST APIs
• Create technical documentation and operational runbooks
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T

• Transport Zones, TEPs, Overlay/Underlay networking
• Distributed Firewall (DFW)
• Tier-0 / Tier-1 Gateways
• Solid networking fundamentals:
• TCP/IP, VLANs, MTU
• BGP (mandatory), ECMP
• Experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)

Troubleshooting & Tools

• Traceflow, Port Mirroring
• Packet captures and log analysis
• NSX CLI and diagnostic tools

• NSX Federation experience
• VMware Tanzu / Kubernetes networking
• Cloud integration (AWS / Azure)
• Automation and IaC exposure
• VMware certifications (VCP-NV / VCIX-NV)
