The Setup Squad is responsible for maintain the core primary services within the Pismo platform. This team is tasked with developing and maintaining services and tools that facilitate seamless onboarding and configuration for Pismo’s products.
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain projects using the Go language with deployment on AWS following best software engineering practices.
- Use Terraform to provision, maintain, and evolve AWS infrastructure.
- Consistently leads their squad to good outcomes from a technical perspective, ensuring appropriate engineering decisions are made to factor in technical debt, systems design, stability/reliability, monitoring/observability, and business need.
- Proactively contributes to the betterment of other engineers in the company, through sponsoring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the technical design and architecture decisions within the squad.
- Operate in a highly documented environment, with a focus on clear and transparent communication.
- Promote cross-team collaboration and act as a technical reference to share knowledge and drive alignment across squads.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer
- Programming Languages: Proficient in Golang, with the ability to work in other languages
- Be based in Brazil
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Infra as a code tools (i.e. Terraform)
- Deep knowledge with MySQL and DynamoDB
- Strong experience with microservices architecture
- English: B2 level or above
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience mentoring other software engineers
- Experience with Critical systems
- Experience with Generative AI solution
