The Network Engineer supports the IT infrastructure team by monitoring network systems, performing first-line troubleshooting, and assisting with network equipment maintenance and small deployments. This role provides an opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic network operations environment.


Responsibilities


  • Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and escalate issues as needed.
  • Perform first-line network troubleshooting and resolve basic connectivity problems.
  • Contact Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for outage resolution and service coordination.
  • Assist in small-scale network deployments and configuration tasks.
  • Support the maintenance and documentation of Aruba switches and wireless controllers.
  • Assist with Fortinet firewall configurations and basic security monitoring.
  • Support Infoblox DDI operations including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM tasks.
  • Document network changes and maintain accurate records for compliance and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure service continuity.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
  • English (fluent) and Portuguese
  • Preferred: Aruba Certified (ACSA/ACSP), Fortinet NSE (Level 4+), Infoblox Certified Network Professional.
  • Specific knowledge of routing and switching protocols
  • Understanding of Networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model and TCP/IP
  • Cisco CCNA certified (or equivalent network administration)
  • Aruba Switching and Wireless
  • Aruba Clearpass
  • MS Office 365 and ServiceNow
  • ITIL qualification
  • Experience participating in infrastructure projects and small-scale deployments.
  • Background in maintaining network equipment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.


Work schedule:

Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Location Sumaré

Hybrid: 3 days on-site per week
