Tasks and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a web-based enterprise AI platform used across the organisation
• Implement new AI-driven use cases and continuously enhance existing platform capabilities
• Integrate and operate AI services such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and API-based services
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of the platform in a cloud environment
• Collaborate closely with product management, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of the technology stack
• Support platform operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a production environment
• Promote best practices in software engineering, security, and documentation

Must-have criteria

• Several years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Strong proficiency in backend development with Java-based frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot)
• Solid experience in frontend development with modern web frameworks (e.g. Angular or comparable technologies)
• Proven experience designing and operating complex, scalable applications
• Good understanding of cloud-native architectures and deployment concepts
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions from concept to operation

Nice-to-have criteria

• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, LLMs, or AI service integration
• Experience with enterprise security concepts and identity/access management
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies
• Experience working in agile or cross-functional development teams
• Interest in user experience design and human-centred software development
• Previous exposure to large or distributed organisational environments

Language requirements

• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Working proficiency in German or French, spoken and written
