We are seeking two experienced contractors for upcoming projects based in Perth, working in a hybrid onsite/WFH model.

🔹 Java Tech Lead – Contract (4 Months)

Start: January

Duration: 4 months

Project Overview

You will lead work on application logging improvements, including log obfuscation and migration from Splunk to Observe, while supporting a platform upgrade from JBoss EAP 7.4 to 8.

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Java 17
• Hands-on experience with JBoss EAP (7.4 and/or 8)
• Experience working with application logging frameworks and log management
• Experience migrating or integrating logging platforms (Splunk to Observe highly regarded)
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

🔹 Senior Java Developer / DevOps Engineer – Contract (6 Months)

Start: January

Duration: 6 months

Project Overview

You will take ownership of migrating complex Octopus Deploy pipelines to GitHub Actions, working closely with the team to resolve blockers and improve CI/CD processes. This role suits a Senior Java Developer with strong DevOps skills or a DevOps Engineer with some Java experience.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Octopus Deploy
• Hands-on experience migrating CI/CD pipelines to GitHub Actions
• Good understanding of Java applications (hands-on coding a plus, not essential)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of work
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with delivery teams
