We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administration Assistant to join the Estate Team at our Air Force Memorial Estate in Bull Creek. In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of administration and reception services to residents of the RAAFA Estate, members, and prospective residents.
This is a Part-Time, Fixed-Term contract for 3 months with office hours being Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 08:00AM – 4:00PM.
As The Administration Assistant, You Will
- Coordinate and respond to enquiries across phone, email and in person, providing warm and professional support.
- Prepare and distribute documents and communications including flyers, newsletters and resident information.
- Maintain accurate resident and unit records, including electricity usage and essential documentation.
- Manage office supplies and financial tasks such as purchasing, stock control, receipting, banking and reconciliation.
- Support residents, staff and volunteers through general administration, volunteer coordination and professional document preparation.
- Monitor pager and emergency call systems during office hours and coordinate handover to Security.
- Assist maintenance and grounds teams by managing maintenance request systems and providing administrative support.
- Undertake other tasks as directed by the Estate Manager.
Established in 1973, Air Force Memorial Estate (AFME) is set on 11 hectares of prime land in Bull Creek with landscaped gardens and beautiful parklands with a picturesque lake nestled amongst shady gum trees. The resort style facilities enable residents to continue living independently, whilst enjoying their retirement being as relaxed or adventurous as they choose. There is a mixture of 163 retirement living apartments as well as older style units which, over the next ten years, will be replaced with contemporary accommodation apartments.

- Exceptional front of house and reception experience.
- Demonstrated administration experience.
- An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Previous experience working within a retirement living setting will be highly regarded.
- Experience in processing billing and invoicing is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- A professional, proactive, can-do attitude.

- Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one
