ROLE: Associate Lead - HR
Status – 6 Months fixed term, extendable based on project requirement
NOTE - Only applicants with Australia full work right, i.e., holding a valid visa will be considered for the role.
Role Overview
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams, including operations and enabling functions. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to drive timely closures, and a solid understanding of HR practices within the Australian market. The position also involves managing employee communications and championing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records.
2. Employee Relations
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Support managers in resolving workplace issues and fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with Australian labor laws.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews to monitor engagement and retention.
3. Payroll Administration
- Coordinate with Finance and payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, benefits deductions, and statutory requirements.
- Address employee payroll queries promptly.
4. Grievance Management
- Handle employee complaints confidentially and in a timely manner.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Document and escalate complex matters to HR leadership when necessary.
5. Employee Engagement & Communications
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives, events, and wellness programs.
- Develop and manage employee communication strategies to ensure clarity and transparency.
- Gather feedback through surveys and focus groups to enhance workplace satisfaction.
- Promote an inclusive and collaborative culture.
6. Diversity & Inclusion
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership and employee resource groups to implement programs that foster equity and belonging.
- Monitor progress and report on diversity metrics.
7. HR Business Partner Support
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and HR policies.
