Role Description

● This role is a 12 month contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks.

● Location: Melbourne / Sydney

● The ideal candidate will have valid work authorization to work within Australia This position is not eligible for any visa sponsorship.


Palo Alto Networks is looking for an SFDC Data Analyst Team Member to work on DG Hub Marketing Team doing SFDC Reporting, Analytics and Insights. This position will report to the Manager and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.


Your Impact

This position calls for someone who possesses a good Reporting and data management background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.


1. Analytics Strategy & Performance Reporting

  • Centralize regional analytics to provide a single source of truth for campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Design executive dashboards tracking critical KPIs to guide resource allocation, translating complex datasets into actionable insights that drive optimization and efficiency.

2. CRM Ecosystem Management (Salesforce Expert)

  • Serve as the Regional SFDC Subject Matter Expert, acting as the bridge between technical systems and business strategy.
  • Lead enablement programs to empower team members to build their own reports (Self-Service Analytics) while optimizing system logic to align with business needs.

3. Data Governance & Integrity

  • Champion database hygiene by establishing rigorous standards to proactively identify and resolve data decay or duplication.
  • Manage the data ingestion gateway, including the strict validation and execution of manual list uploads to ensure pipeline accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data cleansing initiatives that maximize marketing campaign deliverability.


Your Experience

  • SFDC certifications with a degree/diploma in Business Intelligence, Business Information or Marketing, or Data Science.
  • Three years relevant experience in a Enterprise / Global B2B agency
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and demanding environment
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing internal and outsourced teams
  • Efficient team player
  • Good knowledge and experience with Google Sheets/Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics, Power BI
  • Well versed with Google Suite and MS Office applications
