We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Freelance Senior Designer to join our dynamic creative team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing visually compelling campaigns for the Canada-US market, working across a variety of platforms and mediums. The ideal candidate will be both a hands-on designer and a strategic thinker, capable of leading creative ideation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality work that aligns with brand objectives.

As a Designer, you will bring your expertise in visual storytelling, campaign development, and creative problem-solving to create engaging assets that resonate with diverse audiences. You’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including web banners, social media content, key visuals, mood boards, mockups, and more, while partnering closely with copywriters and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive, impactful creative output.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative ideation and development of campaign concepts rooted in strong visual storytelling
  • Translate briefs into compelling creative work: from web banners, paid and organic social posts, and key visuals to mood boards & mockups
  • Partner with copywriters to ensure copy and visuals on all creative are in sync and work in harmony
  • Guide the execution of creative assets during ideation and production, providing feedback and oversight.
  • Craft strategically-sound, persuasive presentations and confidently pitch creative work to clients and stakeholders.
  • Structure ideas with a clear, strategic point of view
  • Offer constructive critique and alternative solutions during creative problem-solving
  • Skilled at refining and elevating creative work to align with strategic objectives and brief requirements
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-brand studio with tight deadlines


Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3/4 years of experience as a Digital Designer, preferably within an agency or fast-paced in-house environment.
  • Proven experience in conceptualizing and designing digital campaigns.
  • Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.), and other relevant software.
  • Use of Flexitive platform is a Huge Plus
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of digital design work, demonstrating both conceptual thinking and strong design execution.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, planners, and animators.
  • Bilingual English is mandatory; fluency in both written and spoken English is required, as you will be working with teams based in Canada, South Africa and the United States.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience designing for the US market.
  • Familiarity with current trends in digital marketing, social media, and designing best practices.
  • Experience working with remote, multicultural teams
