Our US-based client is looking for a ML / AI Engineer to join our team as we build and validate our next-generation fintech platform. This is an opportunity to help design and implement intelligent systems that bring clarity, confidence, and proactive guidance to personal finance. We’re building AI that works with people—not instead of them. Our focus is on trust, context, and real-world decision-making, not novelty demos. If you’re excited by applying AI to meaningful, high-stakes problems and shaping how intelligent systems show up in people’s lives, this role may be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build AI-driven features using modern machine learning and large language models (LLMs), with a focus on trust, accuracy, and explainability
- Collaborate closely with product, front-end, and back-end engineering to integrate AI seamlessly into user workflows
- Help architect and evolve agent-based systems (e.g., Personal CFO / Financial Controller agents) that reason across financial data, context, and user intent
- Develop pipelines for data ingestion, enrichment, and inference across structured and unstructured financial data
- Evaluate, test, and deploy models responsibly—balancing performance, cost, and user experience
- Stay up to date with advances in AI/ML and help guide Olomon’s long-term AI direction
- Build with empathy—always considering how intelligent systems impact trust and real financial decisions
Who you are
- Are you energized by the challenge of turning complexity into clarity? Do you believe AI should reduce stress and increase confidence for real people making real decisions?
- We’re looking for someone who thrives in early-stage environments. You’re comfortable operating across experimentation and production. You take ownership, ask thoughtful questions, and understand that in fintech, correctness and trust matter as much as innovation.
- You’re a problem solver. A systems thinker. A builder who understands that great AI is as much about judgment and design as it is about models.
- Machine learning fundamentals and applied model development
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt / orchestration patterns
- Python
- Data pipelines and model deployment in production environments
- APIs and services that integrate ML into product workflows
- Cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred)
- Having built something with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, or hybrid search approaches
Requirements
These are not requirements—but areas where deeper experience could accelerate impact and help shape the future of Olomon’s AI platform:
- Experience building or contributing to agent-based or multi-step AI systems, including reasoning, planning, or orchestration patterns
- Exposure to financial data, fintech, or other high-trust domains where accuracy, explainability, and security matter
- Experience fine-tuning or evaluating LLMs and understanding tradeoffs between accuracy, latency, and cost
- Comfort designing AI systems that operate in collaboration with humans, not just automation in isolation
- Experience working in early-stage or fast-moving environments, where ownership and adaptability matter
- Curiosity about AI ethics, data privacy, and responsible deployment, especially in user-facing products
