For our client specialised in the automotive sector, we are actively looking for a Data Scientist.
You will join the Powertrain Advanced / Planning / System team, a Research and Planning group dedicated to shaping today’s and tomorrow’s state-of-the-art technology and performance. The team focuses on key electrification components such as batteries, E-motors, E-Axles, and charging technologies. Through research and by defining future roadmaps, the team influences strategic decisions on applying the right technologies in the client’s future European vehicles and sets competitive performance targets.
Job description:
As a member of Powertrain Advanced / Planning / System team you will be contributing to the Research & Development by using AI-techniques to automate the capturing, processing, analysis and mapping of the latest Technology and Market Trends from a wide spectrum of heterogeneous information sources and translate into digestible Research Roadmaps. Tasks will include (non-exhaustive):
- Create reusable data ingestion & transformation pipelines with tests and lineage
- Build and evaluate predictive and classification models
- Maintain concise documentation
- Design AI-agentic framework / workflows (multi‑agent orchestration for data extraction, reasoning, prompt engineering and action execution)
- Visualize data using PowerBI
- Manage schedule and report progress proactively
Your profile:
- Master or PhD in the field of Computer Science / Data Science or Engineering with a profound interest in Data Science & Data Engineering
- Experience with Snowflake or SQL-based databases for data preparation, experimentation and deployment in governed environments
- Advanced Machine-Learning skill using Python required
- Experience with Large-Language Models (LLM) applications preferrable
- Advanced Data visualization skill in PowerBI required
- Open-minded & keen to work proactively in a multi-cultural environment
- Able to monitor progress and report efficiently
- Highly motivated with a passion for electrification
- Fluent in English: reading, writing and speaking
- Able to summarize and explain complex information in a simple and visual way
