Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
  • Extensive experience with OpenShift (OKD/OCP), Docker/Podman, and Helm for deploying and scaling containerised applications.
  • Mastery of Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), and Maven to implement standard pipelines for Java (Quarkus) and React ecosystems.
  • Proficient in Terraform and Ansible to automate environment provisioning and configuration.
  • Strong focus on security compliance using HashiCorp Vault, Veracode, Trivy, and Syft for vulnerability management and artifact scanning.
  • Experience implementing centralised logging and metrics using the ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka (Confluent), and Solace PubSub+.
  • Advanced automation skills in Python and Bash.
  • Proven ability to act as a bridge between central infrastructure teams and product developers to optimize build and test workflows.


Job Description:

  • Pipeline Implementation: Adopt and customise central CI/CD pipelines for eEAD/iNM, ensuring compliance with enterprise policies while fitting specific project needs.
  • OpenShift Management: Deploy, scale, and optimise containerised applications, implementing auto-scaling and self-healing for high availability.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce DevSecOps standards by integrating automated security scans and managing secrets through HashiCorp Vault.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Use IaC tools to manage environment consistency across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Performance Optimisation: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in build and deployment processes, optimising OpenShift resource usage for cost efficiency.
  • Observability Setup: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging standards to ensure proactive system health management.
