Plan A Technologies is looking for a Strategic Product Manager to work directly with the CEO to oversee and execute high-priority projects for a key client. This is a unique role that requires a blend of high-level product strategy and hands-on project management. You will be the CEO’s "proxy" in meetings and technical discussions, responsible for bringing structure to ambiguous requests and ensuring that every project stays on track even when documentation is sparse.
Please note: you must have at least 8+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Project Management to be considered for this role.

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Strategic Product Manager to work directly with the CEO to oversee and execute high-priority projects for a key client. This is a unique role that requires a blend of high-level product strategy and hands-on project management. You will be the CEO’s "proxy" in meetings and technical discussions, responsible for bringing structure to ambiguous requests and ensuring that every project stays on track even when documentation is sparse.
Please note: you must have at least 8+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Project Management to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Project Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for a specific client, translating their needs into clear technical requirements for the development team.
- Executive Oversight: Provide the CEO with frequent, concise updates on project status, identifying potential bottlenecks or risks before they escalate.
- Requirements Discovery: Proactively gather information and fill in the gaps for projects where visibility or documentation may be limited.
- Prioritization: Manage the backlog of requests to ensure the team is always working on the CEO’s and the client's top priorities.
- Operational Setup: Implement lightweight project management processes (e.g., in Jira or Notion) to track progress without slowing down the engineering team.
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Project Management, ideally in a client-facing or agency setting.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with limited information and changing requirements.
- Technical Literacy: Comfortable discussing web technologies, cloud infrastructure, and APIs with engineers.
- Exceptional English communication skills, with a talent for summarizing complex information for executive decision-making.
- Self-Starter: A "get-it-done" attitude; someone who doesn't wait for instructions but actively seeks out what needs to be solved.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative and drive to do great things.
