Your mission:

This is a senior, commercially focused role responsible not only for originating development finance transactions, but also for setting Fiduciam's strategy and leading its presence in the development sector across Ireland and Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will bring strong market insight, a clear understanding of borrower and broker needs, and the ability to translate this into a compelling, well-positioned product.

You will work closely with senior management, credit and underwriting to ensure our proposition remains competitive, scalable and aligned with our risk appetite.

Specific Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility is to originate and manage development applications, which includes:

• Originating development finance opportunities across Ireland and Northern Ireland;
• Acting as a senior point of contact for the market and representing the business externally;
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, developers and introducers;
• Acting as the primary point of contact for borrowers and intermediaries throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Identifying gaps and opportunities in the market and positioning our development finance offering;
• Assessing new opportunities at a high level and progressing suitable transactions through to credit approval;
• Working closely with underwriters to structure transactions appropriately;
• Assisting with PR and marketing including promoting our development finance offering, attending events and engaging directly with brokers and developers.

About you:

• Strong track record in originating development finance transactions in Ireland and/or Northern Ireland;
• Established network of brokers, developers and professional contacts in the market;
• Solid understanding of development finance structures, risk and credit considerations;
• Commercial, relationship-driven and comfortable operating in a senior client-facing role;
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams;
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment;
• Excellent technical skills and market knowledge;
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines; and
• Enjoying an international environment.
