WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you passionate about designing elegant, scalable digital experiences for complex banking products?

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to take a role in shaping and governing Corp/Retail Banking digital interfaces for one of our key financial services clients.

In this role, you’ll work on web and mobile banking applications, owning UI quality, consistency, and design system evolution. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and product stakeholders to ensure that design solutions are not only visually outstanding but also feasible, accessible, and scalable across platforms.

This is a hands-on, senior-level role where your design decisions will directly impact how users interact with critical financial services every day.

DO YOU HAVE…

🌟 5+ years of experience in UI / Product Design, ideally within fintech, banking, or financial services environments.

🌟 A strong portfolio showcasing visually polished, user-centric web and mobile interfaces.

🌟 Deep expertise in modern design tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Framer, and AI-assisted design tools.

🌟 Solid understanding of color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, and component-based design.

🌟 Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and governing design systems at scale.

🌟 Experience collaborating in Agile, cross-functional teams, working closely with developers and UX designers.

🌟 A strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, intuitive designs.

🌟 Awareness of accessibility and responsive design best practices.

BONUS SKILLS…

💥 Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles.

💥 Experience with motion design, animations, and micro-interactions.

💥 Background in designing complex enterprise or banking platforms with high usability and compliance requirements.

✨ Salary range in this position is from 4500 EUR. gross to 5600 EUR. gross (also, we can provide B2B collaboration option with an hourly rate up to 41 EUR).
