Operations Analyst

We’re looking for an Operations Analyst to support our financial operations across securities settlements, corporate actions, cash management, and credit activities. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced financial environment.

What You’ll Do

Securities & Settlements

• Process and monitor trade settlements to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Reconcile trades across internal systems, custodians, and clearing houses
• Investigate and resolve settlement issues and discrepancies
• Manage SWIFT MT54X messages and regulatory reporting (e.g. MiFIR)

Corporate Actions

• Monitor and process mandatory and voluntary corporate action events
• Review event terms, manage client instructions, and meet market deadlines
• Reconcile cash and securities entitlements
• Manage SWIFT MT56X messages and tax-related documentation

Cash Management

• Process payments, SWIFT transfers, FX transactions, and cash movements
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and liquidity monitoring
• Prepare cash reports and support funding and treasury activities

Credit Operations

• Set up and maintain loan accounts and documentation
• Support loan funding, amendments, renewals, and monitoring
• Track repayments, balances, and potential credit risks

Across All Areas

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Identify operational risks and suggest process improvements
• Support system upgrades, testing, and automation initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial operations
• Strong understanding of financial markets and operational processes
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities
• Proactive, well-organized, and results-driven
• Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
