Student Research Assistant (10 h/week) – Green Steel & Data-Assisted CFD
We are looking for a motivated student assistant to support a research project on green steel production.
Tasks include:
- Analysis of Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) data
- Data processing and scripting in MATLAB / Python
- Automation of parametric studies on HPC systems
- Supporting physics-based CFD studies of particle-laden flows
Your Profile:
- Enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Familiarity with Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) (coursework or practical experience)
- Working knowledge of MATLAB and Python
- Interest in multiphase flows, fluid mechanics, or process engineering
- Prior experience with HPC or Linux environments is a strong plus (but not mandatory)
Duration: 3 months (extension possible)
Workload: 10 h/week
