For one of the EU Institution, we are currently looking for :

Financial Strategy & Data Analyst (M/F/D)

The Context: To support the Strategy Department in modernizing its financial steering, we are looking for a versatile profile capable of bridging Finance and Data Science. You will operate on a dual perimeter: Financial Strategy (FS) and the Analytical Center of Expertise (ACE).

Main Missions :

You will play a key role in defining long-term financial goals and automating their monitoring through data.

1. Financial Strategy & Steering

• Strategic Scorecard: Developing and maintaining the "Strategic Target System" (STS), including KPI definition and calibration.
• Process Management: Running the quarterly STS process from data collection to final output analysis.
• Modeling: Performing scenario analysis and developing financial models (projections, balance sheet dynamics).
• Reporting: Drafting strategy papers and high-level analytical reports for Senior Management and the Board.
  
  

 2. Data Analytics & Innovation

• Data Science: Querying, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets using code (Python, R, or SQL).
• Visualization: Designing interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to support strategic decision-making.
• Automation: Enhancing analytical tools and automating data flows to improve efficiency.
• Culture: Acting as an internal expert to promote a data-driven culture within the department.
  
  

Your Profile Education & Experience

• You hold a University degree (Finance, Strategy, or STEM).
• You justify at least 3 years of relevant experience in Data/Business Analytics, Financial Modelling, or Corporate Strategy.
  
  

Technical Skills (Hard Skills)

• Data Tools: Proven experience with Python, R, or SQL and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau) is required.
• Finance Tools: Proficiency in Excel is imperative.
• Language: You have a perfect command of English (oral and written).
  
  

Your Qualities (Soft Skills)

• Analytical Mindset: You have strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for numerical tasks.
• Strategic Thinking: You can challenge existing assumptions with data-driven reasoning.
