About The Role
This is a high-impact position focused on leading a significant digital experience redesign. Your work will directly improve customer conversion and lifetime value, helping our customers make joy unforgettable. You will set the design foundation for future innovation within a dedicated customer experience team.
How You Embrace Curiosity Daily
- Drive best-in-class solutions that are usable, desirable, and accessible across end-to-end customer edge cases.
- Lead complex projects that impact the entire customer experience across platforms and AI domains.
- Conduct frequent usability testing to gather early and continuous feedback from users.
- Ensure design feasibility by collaborating closely with Engineering and identifying opportunities to leverage AI for innovation
- Co-lead feature discoveries with the Product Manager (with input from engineering and supported by UX research and analytics) to deeply understand customer and business problems, ensuring data and insight-informed solutions
- Partner with your Product Manager to decide and prioritise the most important problems to solve for customers and the business.
- Align with Marketing, Brand, Commercial, and Customer Care teams to build business needs into the design process.
- Coach and mentor junior designers within your Design team, ensuring high-quality output aligned with the Product Design practice.
- Contribute greatly to the maturity of the Product Design practice, such as the design system and principles.
- Present work clearly in team and company meetings, adjusting your message for various stakeholders and leaders.
- Proven experience leading discovery processes for complex or unclear problems, including facilitating decision-making.
- Expertise working within agile teams and collaborating on initiatives involving many teams and stakeholders.
- Skill in breaking down user problems and using outcome framing, like hypotheses or Jobs to Be Done.
- Mastery in prototyping complex interactions and choosing the right fidelity, from sketching to high-fidelity.
- Confidence conducting user testing and clearly defining smaller research questions to guide design.
- Ability to clearly explain how design solutions help meet overall business goals and the product's long-term vision.
- You consistently share work and seek or give valuable feedback, showing an open design culture.
- New ideas and techniques: you will challenge the status quo by taking responsibility of shaping new initiatives and trialling new ways of working
- Proficiency with Figma
- Strong understanding of designing user journeys, flows and interfaces
- Designing for native apps and web
- Familiarity with working with success measures / metrics, analytics data, a/b testing
- Working with design systems and various guidelines e.g. brand, UX principles
- Knowledge of AI to drive design practice and UX
