The Role
The Project Manager will play a critical role in technical and costing support, ensuring projects move seamlessly from concept to series production. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments.
Your mission:
- Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Drive efficiency and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft specifications and ensure compliance with standards and rules.
- Plan and manage projects from initial design to series production.
- Coordinate testing and certification processes (including NAVY projects).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues.
- Maintain customer contact and deliver exceptional after-sales support.
- Collaborate with external engineers and internal R&D teams.
- Prepare documentation (spec sheets, manuals) in FORTEC format.
- Support integration into SAP systems (BOM management).
Ideal Candidate
Education & Experience:
- Degree in a technical field or comparable qualification, electrical design or engineering is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with ECDIS is a plus
- Background in machine manufacturing
- Experience in project management and MS Office tools
- Familiarity with digital tools and ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required
- German language skills are desirable
