About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic team in building a cutting-edge Over-The-Top (OTT) mobile application focused on video streaming.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms using React Native, with a proven track record in the OTT industry, specifically working on video streaming mobile apps.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance OTT mobile application using React Native for both Android and iOS platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to define and implement innovative features for video streaming.
Work closely with third-party vendors and partners to integrate services and ensure a cohesive end-to-end application.
Optimize application performance for smooth video playback, low latency, and efficient resource usage across diverse devices.
Implement robust, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and modern development standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to video streaming, cross-platform compatibility, and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native.
Proven experience building and deploying video streaming mobile applications in the OTT industry.
Demonstrated expertise in developing applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related libraries/frameworks.
Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, state management (e.G., Redux, MobX), and UI/UX principles.
Hands-on experience with the certification and submission processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration with backend services.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.G., Jest, Detox) and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
