Job Purpose
As Legal Advisor at CCEP Portugal, you will play a key role within the Portuguese legal team, providing operational advice across all areas of the business. You will work closely with the Legal Head Portugal, ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of compliance and ethics. As this position reports directly to the Head of Legal Portugal, it requires a strong sense of commitment, integrity, and alignment with the guidance and constant strategic direction provided by the Head of Legal.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day advice and collaboration on a broad range of issued in all areas of law:
- Comprehensive legal advice in areas such as commercial, corporate, compliance, data protection, competition, consumer law, etc.;
- Legal Knowledge: solid understanding of Portuguese commercial, corporate civil, and basic administrative law processes;
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, supporting negotiations with customers and suppliers;
- Support strategic and cross-functional projects, ensuring risk mitigation and legal compliance;
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities when required;
- Drive compliance initiatives and deliver internal training on legal policies;
- Handle and follow-up litigations;
- Collaborate internationally, working with legal teams across other CCEP markets, if necessary.
- Law Degree, ideally complemented by a Master’s in Law;
- Lawyer Registered in a BAR association;
- Several years on top law firms, advising and working as a lawyer, with expertise in commercial and contract law;
- Native or equivalent proficiency Portuguese, very high English and high Spanish (mandatory).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills;
- Good communication and negotiation abilities;
- Business-oriented mindset and problem-solving approach;
- Proactive, autonomous, and collaborative team player;
- Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to change.
