Responsibilities
- Collaborate with editors and photographers to determine the best images for publication
- Edit, retouch, and enhance photos for both print and digital platforms
- Ensure all images meet publication quality standards and deadlines
- Position and format photos to complement accompanying text and layouts
- Coordinate photo assignments and manage workflow to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain organized archives of edited and original images
- Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and creative direction
- Proven experience in photo editing and graphic design for print and web
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign
- Strong visual storytelling and layout skills
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with editorial teams is highly desirable
- Availability for urgent assignments and flexible scheduling
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or related field preferred
