The Role

We are currently looking for an ambitious and highly motivated LLM Engineer / Generative AI Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us adapt our platform, technology stack, and internal processes to support the launch and expansion of Ibancar in Spain and Mexico.

This is a demanding yet highly rewarding role, offering a unique opportunity to join a very ambitious fintech business. The position is hands-on by nature, and ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience in a fintech or financial services company in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize advanced prompts with a focus on reliability, traceability, and error control.
• Build and orchestrate multi-agent systems (tools, function calling, workflows) to automate complex processes.
• Implement and integrate:
• Internal and legal documentation
• Structured databases
• Internal and external APIs
• Develop automated evaluation systems for AI outputs (quality, consistency, hallucinations).
• Use AI for:
• Code generation and refactoring
• Automated testing
• AI-assisted code reviews
• Collaborate closely with backend, product, and compliance teams to integrate AI into business-critical workflows.
• Ensure best practices in security, privacy, and data governance.

• Proven ability to design and maintain multi-step workflows and agent-based architectures, including:

• Strong programming skills, with a focus on:

• Integration of AI systems with existing services
• Continuous delivery of features that directly impact fintech products
• Experience working with APIs, databases, and cloud services is highly valued.
• Practical knowledge of distributed systems, including:

• Comfortable acting as the first AI engineer, helping define:
