About the role

This person will be responsible for delivering complex technological transformation initiatives in the payments industry while optimizing portfolio value through effective resource allocation and investment prioritization. The role combines portfolio management according to MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) principles with project delivery following PMI standards and Agile frameworks.


Job Duties And Responsibilities:


  • Lead complex Payretailers IT projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with domain leads and other teach and business stakeholders.
  • Implement flexible governance framework that bridges Agile and Waterfall approaches, standardizing delivery while maintaining agility and compliance.
  • Manage project dependencies between Agile and Waterfall teams, synchronizing sprint cycles with waterfall phases and key milestones to ensure seamless integration.
  • Capacity planning, optimizing specialized skill utilization while maintaining project momentum and delivery quality.
  • Lead stakeholder management across business units, partners, and technology teams. Communicate effectively in English and Spanish to ensure clear and concise collaboration with stakeholders, both internal and external.


Experience and Qualifications:


  • 4 or 5 Years of experience managing complex IT projects (involving SW Delivery), handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and with deep expertise in planning, stakeholder management and communication.Experience with project management tools, JIRA Software – Atlassian package being the preferred.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with global, multicultural teams, across different timezones.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (C1 level or higher)a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
