A typical day might include the following:

• Analyze and document business and regulatory requirements for banking reporting solutions.
• Ensure proper alignment of reporting requirements with banking processes and existing IT architecture.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define data models and DWH solutions.
• Analyze large volumes of data and identify correlations, business rules, and reporting impacts.
• Assess the impact of business or regulatory changes on reports and data flows.
• Define, write, and execute functional test scenarios for reports and DWH processes.
• Provide user support and assist in resolving production issues.
• Contribute autonomously to complex projects, following Agile methodology and using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• A very good level of knowledge of banking products/processes and the interdependencies between different banking areas;
• Understanding of how various components of a banking-specific IT system interact;
• Ability to identify, analyze, and formalize regulatory requirements specific to the banking domain; understanding and ability to place any business requirement in the correct context;
• Ability to analyze and understand large volumes of data and the correlations between these data;
• Technical knowledge specific to DWH (types of tables, types of technical keys, types of data historization, data modeling concepts);
• Ability to work independently within complex projects;
• Ability to identify the impact of the projects in which you are involved;
• Ability to write and execute test scenarios (functional tests) and provide user support;
• Good knowledge of PL/SQL and experience using Jira, HP Quality Center, Microsoft Office, and Confluence;
• Experience working in an Agile environment is considered an advantage.
