Project Description:

• You will be part of a team of 6 FTE (called Fair Value team) that will be responsible, within the client Lending Tribe, for integrating Lending portfolios with ING' dedicated Pricing architecture (IPA RaceING)
• Work location is either India (fully WFH) or alternatively in Bucarest (minimum 3 days/week in the office)

Responsibilities:

• As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
• • Designing, Developing and validating machine learning models
• • Data processing

Mandatory Skills Description:

• • Strong hands-on development experience is a must
• • Proficiency in Python (for automation, data processing, Machine Learning and ML model development).
• • Experience with Java (for integration into production systems).
• • Ability to design, implement and validate ML models.
• • Familiarity with data pipelines and tools.
• • Background in quantitative finance (valuation, spread modeling) is a plus.
• • Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (model validation, SoX, IT Risk) is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• • Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• • Linux Knowledge: Working knowledge of Linux, with experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHAT 8) being particularly valuable.
