Detect & Disarm
Truesec Detect and Disarm is a managed service consisting of a skilled security analysis team that conducts 24/7 attack monitoring, threat hunting, threat intelligence analysis, and threat remediation. Our team of experts works tirelessly to identify and prevent cyber breaches, and to help increase our customers’ proactive cybersecurity defences. Our goal is to be an extension of our customers’ IT organizations, customizing a combination of capabilities and tooling, tailored to prevent cyber attacks in the most efficient way
As we monitor a solid volume of highly regarded businesses, and work closely with our CSIRT in the latest incidents, our SOC is always up to date with the latest threats and real-world insights.
About The Job
The SOC Shift Lead is an important position tasked with acting as support to all the monitoring teams during each shift. Making sure the SOC Analysts can focus on their primary responsibilities and supporting with quality assurance 24/7, helping to assure that processes and procedures are always followed. The SOC Shift Lead works in shifts on a rolling schedule to support SOC Analysts 24/7.
The Shift Lead will balance being responsible for interacting with the CSIRT if a critical incident occurs, taking lead on all incoming communication and stepping in to support a team that is experiencing heavy workload (we are working against antagonistic threat actors that sometimes makes it hard to plan).
To be able to support the monitoring teams you will be expected to have an overall knowledge and understanding of how to navigate and interpret alerts in the main EDR platforms we work with. You need to be able to remain calm under pressure and manage and communicate with customers under duress. Working with continuous improvement solving practical problems is an important part of the job.
You work alongside SOC Team Leads to make sure we maintain premium service quality, good working conditions for our monitoring teams, guiding and assisting colleagues as the moment dictates making informed decisions and prioritizing as you go.
We think your background include minimum two (2) years of work experience in one or more of below fields:

We think your background include minimum two (2) years of work experience in one or more of below fields:
- Experience from a SOC/NOC
- Experience from Servicedesk/Helpdesk
- Experience as a leader
- Experience in writing/composing reports and other formal communications in both Swedish and English.
- Experience in incident and/or crisis management
- Familiar with one or several EDR platforms (e.g. Defender, Crowdstrike)
- Good general understanding of basic workplace infrastructure
- Good general understanding of basic server infrastructure
