We are urgently looking for an experienced AOSP Developer to work on-site from the office in Warsaw. The role focuses on test automation and ensuring high software quality in Android Embedded environments such as smartwatches and smart glasses. The position is dynamic, with an initial strong focus on scripting and automation and the possibility to gradually expand into low-level Android development. Only English is required.

Obowiązki

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests in Android environments (GTest, Gauntlet)
  • Create new test cases for system functionalities, including OTA update testing
  • Perform end-to-end validation and verification of system processes
  • Debug issues, fix defects, and maintain existing test suites
  • Manage software versioning activities (e.g. version bumps)
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement code coverage and testing for native modules
  • Ensure high software quality in Android Embedded environments (e.g. smartwatches, smart glasses)

Wymagania

  • Commercial experience with AOSP or Android Embedded environments
  • Strong background in scripting and test automation
  • Very good knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining automated test cases
  • Solid understanding of Android Embedded frameworks and native modules
  • Practical experience with ADB
  • Knowledge of C/C++, especially for Linux-based daemons or kernel-level components
  • Basic knowledge of iOS frameworks
  • Experience in testing embedded devices, including wearables
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on speed, quality, and consistency
  • Experience with OTA update testing, code coverage tools, and version control systems (Git)
