Role Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate Kubernetes clusters using Kubespray
- Manage Kubernetes resources, upgrades, and routine lifecycle tasks
- Automate infrastructure and configuration with Ansible
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Automate and support application deployments to Kubernetes
- Monitor clusters and applications; troubleshoot performance and incidents
- Apply security best practices (RBAC, secrets, patching)
- Support development teams and document operational procedures
- Stable and reliable Kubernetes platform
- Automated, repeatable infrastructure and deployments
- Reduced operational issues and deployment failures
- Consistent environments and smooth developer experience
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster operations, workloads, upgrades)
- Practical knowledge of Kubespray for Kubernetes cluster deployment
- Strong experience with Ansible for infrastructure and configuration automation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker / OCI)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or hybrid environments
- Knowledge of Helm or other Kubernetes package management tools
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools beyond Ansible (e.g. Terraform)
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Basic security knowledge (Kubernetes security, image scanning, secrets management)
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Experience working in Agile / DevOps-oriented teams
