We are looking for a talented Real-time VFX Artist to join the team working on a new project in the Survival genre. The successful candidate will create and optimize real-time VFX in Unity, expand the existing library of elements for future effects, and cooperate with the Art and Game Design teams.
Examples of the team’s work on the Mech Arena project.
Responsibilities
- Creating real-time VFX in Unity for a variety of mobile game elements including weapons, character abilities, enemy attacks, and environment maps, and creating UI visual effects
- Using internal tools to collate and review completed VFX work, and checking related settings
What we expect
- At least 2 years of experience creating real-time VFX
- Experience working in Unity
- Experience working on mobile projects and optimizing visual effects for them
- Extensive experience working with Amplify Shader Editor or a similar graph-based shader editor
- Experience working with prefabs in Unity as well as configuring additional scripts and elements
- Experience working with animation in Unity
Desired
- Experience working with version control systems
- Experience creating textures in Substance Designer
