ML Specialist

Basic information:

Location: 100% remote (hybrid work from Warsaw possible for those interested)

Rate: PLN 130-200/hour net + VAT

Type of work: B2B contract

Duration: 3 months + possible extensions (work as an additional project/part-time position possible)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver actionable insights using appropriate methodologies and analytical techniques to help the client make informed portfolio decisions

• Creating analyses and recommendations to support the team and PM

• Generating queries, dashboards, and reports using complex data sets from a variety of sources

• Cross-functional collaboration on advanced analytical projects that solve various large-scale business problems

• Working in Databricks (no experience required), data source integration, data pipelines, ML libraries

Profile:

• Analytical skills and intellectual curiosity

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a similar field

• 5 years of experience in data analysis/data science

• Experience in creating and implementing ML models

• Knowledge of SQL, R, and Python

• Experience working with large code bases

• Solution-oriented approach, ability to work in a dynamic environment and deliver results under pressure

• Communication skills and the ability to clearly convey business concepts and data analysis results to all levels of the organization

• Attention to detail, demonstrating the highest standards of professional integrity and work ethic

Team: distributed, international environment, most work in Warsaw, while the client and part of the team are from the US
