We are seeking a Project Manager to support our growing team in North America. In this role, you will:
- Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and close-out of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and regulatory requirements.
- Define and maintain project WBS, schedule, cost baseline, and risk registers.
- Monitor performance metrics (SPI, CPI) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Manage engineering, procurement, and construction interfaces within a matrixed environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder reporting.
- Foster a highly collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team environment.
- Mentor and coach junior project staff, promoting knowledge transfer and professional growth.
- Implement PTAG’s Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards throughout all project phases.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and reporting frameworks.
- Lead or contribute to internal process improvement efforts, including the development of tools, templates, and best practices.
- Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to PTAG’s internal project management community.
- Support proposal writing, RFP responses, and client engagement initiatives.
- Drive adoption of digital collaboration and project management technologies.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (required).
- 5–8 years of progressive project management experience in capital projects within the power, energy, or infrastructure industries.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, and earned value analysis.
- Experience working with government-funded or large industrial projects preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with project management and collaboration software (e.g., Primavera, SharePoint).
- PMP certification or P.Eng license preferred (or in progress).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel and/or relocate within North America to support client projects as required.
