Chief Digital Officer – Product & Platform Leadership

We’re partnering with a large, complex organisation at a pivotal point in its transformation. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a Chief Digital Officer to define technology strategy, build modern digital platforms, and scale high-impact products that serve millions of users.

As CDO, you’ll set the long-term digital vision while remaining close to execution. Working alongside the executive team, you’ll translate business strategy into a product and platform roadmap that delivers measurable customer, operational, and commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Define and execute a multi-year digital and technology strategy aligned to business growth and customer outcomes
• Lead the modernisation of core platforms, transitioning from legacy environments to scalable, cloud-native architectures
• Establish and embed a product-led operating model, with clear ownership, roadmaps, and delivery accountability
• Oversee the design and delivery of customer-facing digital products and platforms at enterprise scale
• Partner with executive leadership to shape strategy, prioritise investment, and resolve complex delivery challenges
• Build, lead, and develop high-performing product, engineering, and platform teams
• Ensure platforms are secure, resilient, and cost-effective while supporting innovation and speed to market
• Act as a senior connector across technology, operations, and commercial functions to drive end-to-end delivery

What You Bring

• Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 20+ years’ experience in technology, including significant time in senior executive or C-suite roles
• Proven success leading large-scale digital transformation and product organisations
• Deep experience with cloud platforms, platform modernisation, and enterprise architecture
• Track record of building and leading sizeable teams, with a strong talent-development mindset
• Strong commercial judgement and experience balancing investment, risk, and return
• Hands-on curiosity; comfortable engaging with product design, architecture decisions, and emerging technologies
• Exceptional communication and influence, with the ability to align diverse senior stakeholders
