Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This role involves conducting financial research, analyzing investment opportunities, and actively engaging with Mandarin-speaking corporates and senior management teams across Asia. You will support the team in investment research while representing the firm in meetings, conferences, and live deal situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and financial analysis on potential investments, with a focus on Mandarin-speaking markets and companies.
- Attend global conferences and management meetings with C-suite executives to assess investment opportunities and build corporate relationships.
- Assist in financial modeling, investment due diligence, and risk assessment.
- Execute trading and hedging strategies as required.
- Monitor portfolio performance, market trends, and macroeconomic developments.
- Prepare investment reports, presentations, and memos for internal discussions and for use in meetings with corporates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with high distinction (e.g. Summa Cum Laude, First Class Honors).
- Native-level or fluent Business Mandarin (preferably first language) with the ability to engage confidently in management meetings and corporate discussions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Understanding of trading and hedging strategies is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- High EQ and professional presence when interacting with senior executives.
- Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
