We are hiring exceptional full-stack software engineers to architect and build our platform. You'll be among our first engineers, working directly with our Head of Product & Engineering and CEO to design and implement the core architecture that everything else will be built on.
This is a true 0-to-1 opportunity. You'll have enormous influence over our technical decisions, own significant parts of the product, and help define our engineering culture as we grow the team. This role is ideal for someone who loves moving quickly, cares deeply about product quality, and thrives in high-ownership environments.
What You’ll Do
- Greenfield architecture: You'll design and build our core systems – customer-facing user interfaces, web experiences, design system, APIs, backend integrations – while optimizing for performance, usability, and maintainability.
- Real ownership: You'll own entire features end-to-end, from talking to users and stakeholders to writing specs, understanding our strategy, and shipping to production.
- Healthcare impact: You’ll work on real-world problems that directly improve patient care.
- Fast iteration: We move quickly, ship constantly, and learn from real users.
- 5+ years experience building and shipping full-stack production systems with polished front-end & backend experiences: with React, TypeScript, Next.js, or similar and modern backend languages (Python, Golang, Java/Kotlin, or similar)
- Track record of taking ownership and startup mentality: You've built something meaningful from scratch – led projects, started a company, built a side project, or worked at an early-stage startup. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and care about solving real problems with unfailing attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills: You can write clearly and make persuasive technical
Preferred
- 5+ years of deep backend experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), databases (Postgres/MySQL, DynamoDB, Spanner, or similar), APIs, and data pipelines (Airflow, Dagster, or similar)
- Experience with modern PaaS platforms (Vercel, Netlify, or similar)
- Familiarity with AI-native coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor)
- Healthcare domain knowledge (HIPAA, EPCS, PDMP, EHR/EMR systems)
The base salary range for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include performance-based incentives, benefits and company options.
