Position: Network Administrator / Systems Engineer

Location: Onsite in Denver, CO (with some travel to store locations)

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire


About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator / Systems Engineer to join a growing retail organization with plans to expand further. This role will be fully onsite at the Denver headquarters and will involve occasional travel to store locations for installations and troubleshooting. You will manage and secure a networked environment across multiple locations, transition from on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-based solution, and ensure smooth operations for VOIP and store connectivity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across multiple retail locations.
  • Manage Meraki and Cisco firewalls, ensuring proper configuration and security.
  • Oversee VOIP systems and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Plan and execute migration from on-premise to cloud-based environments.
  • Perform firmware updates and maintain system integrity across all devices.
  • Implement network segmentation and security best practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Provide onsite support and travel to stores as needed for installations and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with leadership on network planning for new store openings.
  • Monitor and manage network performance remotely using cloud-based tools.


Qualifications

  • Experience with Meraki and Cisco networking products.
  • Strong understanding of network security, segmentation, and firewall management.
  • Hands-on experience with VOIP systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and remote network management.
  • Ability to manage multi-location environments effectively.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to store locations as needed.
  • Open to junior-level candidates with strong technical skills and eagerness to learn.
