Role: Cyber Security Analyst (entry-level)

Location: Bristol, 1 day per week in the office, 4 days from home

Compensation: Up to £35,000 DOE


** MUST be commutable to Bristol, 1 day per week **


This role is ideal for someone who has graduated with a Degree in Cyber Security or equivalent, or someone that has worked in the industry for 1 year.

The current team are comprised of a diverse range of security and infrastructure specialists who have an impressive tenure in the business. This is an environment which promotes flexibility and encourages professional development. You'll be reporting into the Head of Cyber Security and given the opportunity to progress through the ranks within their Security Operations Center.


What you'll be doing:

  • Support daily cyber security operations and tooling and manage cyber support tickets.
  • Assist the Cyber team with day-to-day tasks, security initiatives, and incident management.
  • Support compliance activities, audits, and third-party supplier/client assessments.
  • Help deliver cyber security awareness, phishing simulations, and colleague education.
  • Document and communicate security processes clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Promote security awareness across the business through proactive engagement.
  • Maintain tracking, monitoring, and reporting formats.
  • Develop understanding of regulatory and standards requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus).


Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of cyber security, information security, and risk management fundamentals.
  • Experience in a cyber/IT security role desirable.
  • Degree in cyber security or a related field desirable.
  • Strong passion for cyber security with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Analytical thinker with confidence to question and improve existing processes.
  • Clear and confident communicator at all levels.
  • Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
