This position is primarily responsible for reporting and structuring data by interpreting and translating diverse regulatory demands into effective data frameworks and products. It requires transforming complex regulatory requirements into actionable data solutions that enable accurate and timely submissions to regulatory bodies (such as Banco Central and Federal Reserve). Additionally, the role leads and supports Risk & Compliance projects, implementing tools, dashboards, and indicators that guide leadership decisions, identify process improvements, and mitigate institutional risks through data science applications. The position also manages projects related to AML, KYC, fincrime, and other regulatory obligations.

What will your day-to-day be like?
- Lead complex data projects centered on regulatory reporting and Risk & Compliance controls, ensuring all deliverables meet current regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
- Interpret and transform multiple regulatory requirements into scalable, structured data products and automated reporting solutions tailored for regulatory submissions and internal risk management.
- Design and define data architectures that facilitate efficient data visualization and generation of intuitive dashboards, empowering stakeholders with clear insights for decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive ad-hoc analyses and provide data-driven insights considering diverse business cases, risk scenarios, and compliance requirements.
- Drive the creation and deployment of automation tools using Python and SQL to streamline reporting processes and reduce repetitive manual tasks, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies in Risk & Compliance workflows and lead automation initiatives to optimize these processes across the teams.
- Oversee coordination and technical support for data analysts involved in compliance and risk-related data projects to ensure quality and consistency of outputs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or related fields;
- Experience with data analysis in the context of payment processing and wallet products is advantageous;
- Proficiency in SQL is essential.
- Knowledge of Pyspark, R, or other relevant languages is a plus;
- Advanced proficiency in English.
