Join the Qantas Group as our Principal Analyst - Reporting & Data Analysis, a key contributor to the Safety, Health and Security reporting function. In this role, you’ll deliver critical performance data, insights and findings that underpin informed decision‑making across the organisation. You’ll own management reporting, data quality assurance and analytics, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate, meaningful and timely information that supports regulatory compliance and business confidence.
A core focus of this role is partnering with business stakeholders to enhance reporting products and services across governance reporting and self‑service BI solutions. You’ll collect and translate evolving business and regulatory requirements into robust solution designs, optimising data integration and delivery processes. In addition, you’ll ensure the seamless integration of new products into the reporting suite and effectively manage the improvement activity pipeline—keeping our reporting ecosystem agile, scalable and future‑ready.
You’ll have –
- 5+ years’ experience in Analytics or Business Intelligence roles.
- Tertiary qualification in statistics, computing, data science, economics or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, DAX or similar coding languages.
- Advanced skills using BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience transforming complex data into clear, relevant reporting outputs.
- Hands‑on experience managing and delivering projects in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
