This position is based at our National Head Office in Mulgrave, reporting to the Senior Manager – Development & Architecture.

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract requiring a full-time, on-site presence, five days a week, to foster collaboration, strengthen team connections, and ensure seamless support across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

As our BI/DW Developer, you will:

• Implement BI strategy recommendations to enhance our data ecosystem
• Liaise with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Design, code, and test data warehouse architecture aligned with best practices
• Continuously improve ETL processes, data models, and reporting frameworks
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, including complex DAX measures
• Coordinate system testing, QA activities, and resolve technical challenges
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for seamless knowledge transfer

About You:

You’re a highly skilled data professional with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. You thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate effectively, and collaborate seamlessly with technical and business teams.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in BI, analytics systems, and visualization tools (Power BI expertise essential)
• Strong experience in ETL, dimensional data modelling (Kimball), and data warehousing
• Proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and database performance tuning
• Proven ability to deliver projects in both waterfall and agile environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills, autonomy, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Highly desirable: Experience with Snowflake and migration projects
