What’s the role?
An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Network Engineer to join the infrastructure team within Group Technology. This role plays a key part in supporting the bank’s critical network services, ensuring high availability, strong performance, and secure connectivity across all business areas.
As an Associate Network Engineer, you will work collaboratively with senior engineers and the SNS group to deliver proactive and efficient operational support. Your focus will be on ensuring the stability and resilience of the network environment while adhering to ITIL-based service processes.

What’s the role?
An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Network Engineer to join the infrastructure team within Group Technology. This role plays a key part in supporting the bank’s critical network services, ensuring high availability, strong performance, and secure connectivity across all business areas.
As an Associate Network Engineer, you will work collaboratively with senior engineers and the SNS group to deliver proactive and efficient operational support. Your focus will be on ensuring the stability and resilience of the network environment while adhering to ITIL-based service processes.
Your key responsibilties include:
- Assist with the day‑to‑day operation of the bank’s network infrastructure to maintain high performance, reliability, and security.
- Support Incident, Change, and Problem Management activities, ensuring timely updates, resolution, and communication to stakeholders.
- Participate in CVE-based vulnerability management activities, including risk assessment, tracking, and coordination of remediation with senior engineers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, service providers, and key business stakeholders to ensure proactive and seamless service delivery.
- Foundational understanding of networking technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing).
- Basic knowledge of network security principles and vulnerability management practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking tools and monitoring systems.
- Exposure to vendor technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, F5, etc.) is desirable.
