Junior Information Security Officer
how you will contribute
You will join Randstad’s Global CISO department that operates worldwide in specialized multidisciplinary teams that manage cybersecurity to cultivate a robust defense system against evolving cyber threats and safeguarding our global interests.
We are searching for passionate cyber security professionals who can complement our global security transformation team.
As a junior Information Security Officer, you will play a critical role in driving various security initiatives and assist in managing global security programs. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of global transformation plans outlined in the data protection and information security strategy, supporting communication, monitoring, and execution.
The key objectives for transformation management are
- Help develop and maintain short, mid and long term view for security posture improvement efforts for Randstad, in line with the business needs and the related threats
- Define and drive corrective measures small and large, to ensure Randstad’s alignment with information security policy and plans
- Monitor alignment with the data protection & information security strategy and plans, and prepare updates for senior management and other stakeholders across the group in collaboration with the Global CISO.
what you will be doing
- oversee various administrative tasks related to transformation initiatives to support the team
- Preparation for IT security Internal Audit (domestic, global)
- Monitoring the progress of remediation plans
- investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
- contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization
- review marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests
- collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance.
who you will work with
Transformation management ensures effective global alignment. You will work closely with colleagues in our own functions, but also with legal, compliance, risk, audit, architects and IT delivery colleagues in Global IT and the OpCos to organize Randstad’s capability to effectively respond to any threats to Randstad.
As member of the Global Transformation management team, you will be reporting directly to the Global CISO.
role related competencies
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in one of the following fields: information security, computer science or related areas
- At least 2 or more years experience in Cyber Security or IT
- Some knowledge of industry best practices from organizations such as International Standards Organization (ISO), Center for Internet Security (CIS) and National Institute of Standards (NIST)

- Good command of the English language and overall communication skills
- Enthusiastic, pragmatic and result driven
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to manage a team without direct reporting lines
- Likes to work in an international environment with different cultures
