You translate concepts provided by concept designers into intuitive, high-quality user flows and screens. By leveraging design components and systems, you create user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences. You balance usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction, bridging the gap between user intent and business goals to deliver innovative and meaningful user experiences.

You design and own the complete digital user flow from a UX/UI perspective, ensuring a high-quality, goal-oriented outcome. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing end-to-end user flows, screen states, and interactions
• Gathering and aligning stakeholder input on user needs and technical feasibility
• Seeking inspiration from best-in-class digital experiences inside and outside the financial sector
• Ensuring a clear and intuitive information hierarchy at screen level
• Designing high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
• Collecting, analyzing, and incorporating feedback from usability testing
• Collaborating closely with a UX copywriter to ensure seamless content integration
• Actively using and contributing to the company’s design system (mobile native & web, mobile-first approach)
• Contributing to the UX/UI community of practice by sharing best practices, co-creating patterns, and defining standards and guidelines

You take the lead during the refinement phase of projects and support concept designers with visual input during the early ideation stages. You deliver pixel-perfect screens and prototypes, hand them over to development teams, and closely follow up on their implementation together with front-end developers.

• Strong mobile-first mindset with proven mobile native design experience (Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines)
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum development cycle
• Strong accessibility mindset with good knowledge of WCAG guidelines and their impact on design and development
• Proficiency in common design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar
• Experience working with design systems
• Ability to consume, apply, and improve design system components
• Understanding of component properties is a plus
• Awareness of the technical impact of design decisions; basic front-end development knowledge is a plus
• Strong documentation skills and ability to create clear briefs for researchers and developers
  

• Native or C1-level proficiency in Dutch or French (spoken and written)
• Good working knowledge of English (B1/B2 level); speaking and writing skills are a strong asset
